Spring Daisies....

...by Lesley Shore in ParchmentCraft Magazine.

This card design is originally in two parts; a topper and a backer.

I stopped after the topper because I liked the simplicity of it: not that it was simple to make, it took me 2 attempts to get this correct!

Coloured with W H Smith blendable pencils.

I 3d the butterfly and flowers,
lined up the two layers of parchment and pierced through them at the same time.
Then added some blue backing paper.

I debossed some white card with  Swiss Dots embossing folder
and added some ribbon from stock, tied with my Attic bow maker.
All on square cardstock and going to my neighbour for her birthday tomorrow.

Thank you for looking and for any comments; always appreciated xx

  5. Absolutely gorgeous topper so delicate and the pencils add just enough colour-like the debossed side never thought of using it that way
