Lilly of the Valley

This is my own design
taken from a photograph sent to my by a dear DC friend KathKat.

I printed off the photo, outlined the main parts that I wanted to use, added an extra leaf,
and carried on as I would normally.

Coloured with W H Smith blendable pencils.
Tattered Lace corners.
Groovi plates to make the outline borders.
Backed onto blue paper and square cardstock.

I sent it to KathKat as a thanks for the inspiration!

Spring Daisies....

...by Lesley Shore in ParchmentCraft Magazine.

This card design is originally in two parts; a topper and a backer.

I stopped after the topper because I liked the simplicity of it: not that it was simple to make, it took me 2 attempts to get this correct!

Coloured with W H Smith blendable pencils.

I 3d the butterfly and flowers,
lined up the two layers of parchment and pierced through them at the same time.
Then added some blue backing paper.

I debossed some white card with  Swiss Dots embossing folder
and added some ribbon from stock, tied with my Attic bow maker.
All on square cardstock and going to my neighbour for her birthday tomorrow.
