Hydrangea

I bought this large stamp in HobbyCraft and decided to try it on parchment paper.

Stamped with white pigment ink and heat embossed with clear powder.
Painted with water colour paints.
Used Groovi circle plates to get perfect circles and a semi circle edger around the outside.
Sun tool to emboss inside the circles.
Secured with brads to rainbow paper and then secured all of it to square card stock.

Sent to a blogging buddy to cheer her up. I hope she likes it.

30th birthday

Our eldest is 30 tomorrow.

This card is based on a design by Marcia Wood-Krentz
in ParchmentCraft Magazine.

She designed it for Queen Elizabeth so it was easy for me to adapt it for our daughter...
Elizabeth!!
I replaced the crown with the number 30.
Cut the aperture using Tattered Lace frame,
placed the parchment and rainbow card behind,
added some gems.

Hurray!!

The light is good enough to start Parchment again.
I do miss it in the winter.

I've started with something easy; a bookmark.
The pattern was inspired by Carla Larter and I topped it with a Spellbinders butterfly..
Coloured with W H Smith pencils.
Popped into a bookmark sleeve.
Added a tassel rescued from a bought card.
